Exploring New Horizons for Control Systems
For more than 20 years, Jagwire has pioneered new territory in the
manufacture of high performance control systems. As an ISO 9001/TS-
16949 company we have an unyielding commitment to quality, constantly
testing, stressing and abusing our brake pads, housings and cables under
extreme conditions. Hard riding athletes from Merida Multivan and Maxxis,
our sponsored mountain bike teams, regularly run our systems through a brutal
gauntlet of unforgiving terrain. We use their feedback to make our products
ever more durable, tougher and high performing.
Jagwire Goes Pro
Traditionally, many of our control system products were released under
respected private label brands. During the past three years we have invested
heavily in developing a new class of control system products. Now, our latest
and best technologies bear the Jagwire logo. We call these products “Pro,”
short for proprietary. Our OEM customers, including Centurion, Giant, BMC,
Cannondale, Merida, Norco, Felt, Scott, Specialized and many more, proudly
display the Jagwire label on their products.
Faster, Leaner, Better
Fully committed to process improvement, our experienced engineering staff is
always looking for ways to save customers money, enhance quality and value
innovation, reduce errors and increase customer satisfaction. Partnering with
Toyota, we integrated the highly efficient Toyota Production System (TPS). Our
balanced blend of automation and manual processes helps us manage flow
and volume, resulting in unsurpassed quality and efficiency. And as a member
of the Taiwan A-Team manufacturing group, we develop improved business
strategies and tactics to reduce lead times, improve quality and cut defects
and waste.
Environment and Community
Recognizing our vital role as responsible global citizens, we strive to produce
products that meet the exacting requirements of government agencies for
performance, safety and environmental impact. Our primary control system
products are CEN certified and free from harmful toxins like lead and dioxins.

The BarCon 2.0
With a simple adapter Jagwire’s engineers came up with an ingenious solution that now allows this lightweight externally mounted shifter mount to be compatible with both SRAM® and Shimano® bar end shifting systems. The BarCon’s sleek low profile design shaves precious grams off the weight of a bicycle and its external mounting is adjustment and service friendly. And the external mount makes the BarCon very versatile. While originally designed for triathlon bikes the mount can be used in a variety of applications including H-type handlebars, touring style drop bars and recumbent bike handlebars.
